Photography: Viola portraits

We bought twenty-four of these gorgeous little violas (for £3!) for our raised flower beds. They’re currently hanging out on the bathroom windowsill waiting for the weather to be a bit kinder so they can move to their new home in the garden.

These ‘portraits’ were taken using a super cheap Polaroid macro lens attachment that can be made to fit onto any lens with an adapter ring. I bought it years ago and it’s honestly one of my favourite photography toys ever. It’s not for hardcore macro action because the magnification isn’t exactly huge, but it’s lovely to play with when you want a slightly different view!

Say something :-)
