Photography: Beautiful under an overcast sky

It may not be sunny and bright at the moment but the garden is still beautiful in small ways under an overcast sky.

This lovely little climbing vine is happily making its way up the side of the garden shed, with a bit of support. Everyone needs a bit of support sometimes though, right?⠀

The strawberry plants have finished fruiting for the year and some of their leaves are turning the most gorgeous shades of fiery red and orange.

We have a few varieties of mint growing together in big pots and I noticed tiny flowers appearing on one of the plants. Some of the mints are grown from supermarket fresh herb pots, some from garden centre plants and some are from seeds given to us by friends, so I’m not entirely sure what species any of them are but they’re very pretty and they smell delicious.
