Make art. Be magic: Spark your creative revolution

#MakeArtBeMagic: Spark your creative revolution

What is magic? Shifting consciousness. Harnessing energy. Recognising your power. Affecting change. Magic is everywhere, all around you and, most importantly, within you. Yes, creative person reading this, I’m talking to you.

Don’t believe me? OK, think about the art you create. Whether you’re drawing, painting, taking photographs, writing, making clothes, building furniture, dancing, playing music, designing graphics, games or gardens, or doing literally anything that involves a creative process, what are you doing? Shifting consciousness, harnessing energy, recognising your power and affecting change!

There are no entry requirements to being an artist beyond making art. It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional at the top of your game, a seasoned creator with decades of experience, a hobbyist who creates for the sheer joy of it or a beginner taking your first steps into a new creative endeavour. It doesn’t matter if you’re having the best day ever and hitting your flow, or summoning determination from the pit of your soul to push through a creative block. If you make art, you are an artist, and art is magic.

I created the #MakeArtBeMagic hashtag for use on any social media platform by anyone sharing their creative output in any medium or genre. Consider this your personal invitation to recognise and celebrate your creativity by tagging your art with #MakeArtBeMagic when you share it online!

I would love to be able to share your art too, whether through Retweets on Twitter, Story shares on Instagram (if you’d like me to share your posts in my IG Story, go to Settings > Resharing to stories in the app and enable Allow others to reshare) and features on DeviantArt.

A hashtag. A project. A movement. Be part of it ❤

So, artists, let’s do this! Are you in?

Say something :-)
