Small treasures of death and the ocean

Colour photograph of a crab's claw and seashells in a wood and brass miniature chest

The miniature treasure chest was a gift from a family friend a long time ago. It’s an antique and it sits on my altar with seashells and bits of dead things in it. Other people collect bits of dead things, right? It’s not just me?

  1. Nice. I have a dog skull (with all its top teeth) that I found on the beach, and a whole box full of sheep jaw bones, rib bones and assorted parts. It’s definitely not just you!
